About Me
Hello, my name is Josh Lee, and I’m glad that you’ve dropped by my site.
I am originally from The Land of the Midnight Sun – Alaska. While in Alaska, I pursued an Associate’s Degree at the University of Utah, where I danced with the UAA Dance Ensemble and a handful of other dance companies in Anchorage, AK. My love of dance and creating choreography led me to Utah, where I first pursued a BFA in dance, and choreographed an award winning piece at Utah Valley University called The Body Beautiful. However, life had other plans and led me to a degree in film at the University of Utah. During that time I worked for Equality Utah, a PAC in Salt Lake City, and then worked as the assistant to Geralyn Dreyfous, a prolific SLC documentary film producer where I learned the ins and outs of production. After working for her at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival, I applied to the Masters Game Studio at the University of Utah and was accepted into its second cohort in the Video Game Production track. Since then, I have produced many prototypes and am currently finishing my thesis on a game called Race of the Zodiac. I am also producing a video game art installation for The Leonardo in conjunction with The University of Utah.
