I served as lead producer and designer on Scrabble April 2016-2017, where I refined an existing event system and designed a multi-phasic tiered event system that was meant to engage the gamut of our players – the casual to the hardcore. Over the course of one update, we saw participation increase from 25% to 75% due to the implementation of the iterative design improvements that were the result of multiple levels of playtesting and UX refinement. As a producer, I defined our roadmap, wrote user stories and acceptance criteria, interfaced weekly with our licensors (Hasbro and Mattel), wrote sunset plans, engaged with the community, and worked with our internal partners across EA to ensure the product hit its goals for the fiscal year.
